A bursary is a form of financial assistance provided to students based on financial need, helping them access higher education. Unlike scholarships, which are often merit-based, bursaries focus on supporting students from lower-income or challenging backgrounds.
For this specific bursary, only tuition fees and books are covered. Accommodation and other living expenses are not included. This ensures that recipients can focus on their studies without the burden of tuition costs while still needing to manage their own living arrangements and additional expenses.
This bursary is specifically for average-performing students from underprivileged backgrounds who may not have the opportunity to pursue higher education due to financial constraints. Unlike scholarships that reward top scorers, this bursary is designed for students with moderate academic results who demonstrate potential, determination, and a strong desire to further their studies.
It supports young Malaysians who might otherwise be overlooked for traditional merit-based scholarships, giving them a chance to enroll in Diploma, Pre-University, or Undergraduate programs at HELP University. The bursary covers tuition fees and books, ensuring that financial limitations do not become a barrier to education.

You’ll need this to move forward.
Step 5: Interview with Rotary Club
Once you receive the offer letter, you will attend a short interview with RCKLDR:
This is when we do a more detailed review to confirm your eligibility.
Step 6: Final Approval
After the interview, Rotary will let you know if your bursary is approved.
If approved, your tuition fees and possibly book costs will be fully covered!
That’s it!
Follow these steps and you could soon be studying at HELP University—with your tuition paid for by Rotary.
If you need help at any stage, we’re just a call or message away.
