The service theme was to focus on the disadvantaged young - the handicapped, the abandoned, the addicted, and the sick.

Our major project was the provision of 'Living and Learning Aids for Handicapped Children' (Chairman PP Chan Kam Fatt) - a RM1,000,000 project of providing aids to children who are hearing impaired, visually impaired or mentally challenged, with 3 major presentations on 17 March 2007, 25 April 2007 and 15 June 2007 and a Gala Charity Dinner (Chairman PP Dato' Koay Soon Eng) with James Bond theme raising over RM600,000 on 12 May 2007. The provision of aids continued into 2007-08 and also 2008-09.

Co-sponsored with Siemens Malaysia a Road Safety Drive for Petaling Jaya with launching on 10 August 2006. Conducted Interact Leadership Training Seminar with interactive format on 19 August 2006. Presented scholarships valued at RM50,000 to 250 needy students from rural schools in Kuala Selangor on 23 September 2006.

Contributed RM11.300 to 40 students for fees, uniforms and bags at Rumah Penyayang Nur Iman. Raised monies and contributed 3,000 sets of school bags, uniforms, T-shirts, exercise books and other essentials valued at RM150,000 to children of victims of flood disaster in Johore on 3 January 2007 and distributed them through Rotary clubs in Johore.

Hosted 72nd District Conference with 65 participating clubs and 1028 attendees on 5-7 January 2007.

Entered into agreement with St John Ambulans Malaysia to let part of Wisma Show Rotary Cares in Sri Kembangan to be used as a haemodialysis centre. Financed, designed and built Rotary Resource Centre valued at RM45,000 for students at Rotary Community Corps (RCC) Kampung Sungei Lui, Selangor.

Visited and donated wheel-chairs and fitness balls to Rumah Sinar Harapan, Kuala Kubu Bharu, on 29 March 2007, followed by donation of diapers costing RM10,000 on 25 April 2007. Presented Vocational Service Awards to trainers, policemen and Hospis Malaysia. Presented Vocational scholarships valued at RM45,000 to 5 students of UNHCR refugees on 24 April 2007. Installed Rotary 'Four-Way Test' plaques and banners at KL Tower on 25 April 2007.

Presented scholarships valued at RM50,000 to 250 needy students from 4 schools in the Kampung Tunku area on 19 May 2007. Initiated contacts with Rotary clubs in Africa for projects to aid poor children in Africa.

Launched Club tie and polo shirt with royal colour of purple. Led delegation of 4 Rotarians to visit Rotary Club of Tokyo in May 2007. Donated provisions costing RM10,000 to Siva Sakthi Samaj, a home for children, on 13 June 2007. Furnished, equipped and opened Special Needs Library for caretakers of handicapped children in Wisma Harapan, Brickfields, on 20 June 2007. Contributed RM60,000.00 towards cost of 16-seater van to Handicapped & Disabled Children Association of Klang and presented it on 23 June 2007.

Held 10 well attended organised fellowships. Received 12 awards and recognitions on behalf of the Club at District Governor's Awards Night on 29 June 2007.
