The major projects carried out were: Rotary International Charity Golf with the Singapore High Commission; developing and cementing closer rapport with all the clubs in District 3300; increasing Rotary membership by inducting 24 new members; launching of Youthact Club; sponsoring of Putrajaya club; establishing sister club arrangements with Rotary Club of Raffles City, Singapore; financing water project in Haadyai, Thailand; launching Nationwide Street Soccer; setting up of clothing bank; hosting jointly with Royal Selangor Club a New Year party for 1,500 underprivileged and special children; launching of the late PDG Dato' (Dr) Jaffar Mohd Ali Youth Fund and screening a charity film premier C 'The Deadly Disciple'; building of two fishponds for the orang asli community at Ulu Chemperoh, Janda Baik, Pahang; obtaining approval from DBKL for land in Cheras measuring approx. 3 acres for the Magnum Rotary Abandoned Children building.

Donations were made to the following charitable homes: (i) Spastics Association for Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan; (ii) Welfare Home District Alor Gajah, Melaka; (iii) Women Islamic Welfare Home, Dungun, Terengganu; (iv) Abandoned Children's Home. Also Scholarship Awards for selected students from schools in Alor Gajah District, Melaka.

In addition, scholarship awards and donation of bags were made to 120 needy students from the Federal Territory and children of employees of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur.

Donated RM 3,500 for the purchase of prosthesis for Mr Sathyeesan a/l Moothy, jointly with PP Chan Kam Fatt and Gleneagles Hospital (Kuala Lumpur) Sdn Bhd.

Participated in Charity Golf Tournament in aid of the Dyslexia Association of Singapore.

Received from the District awards for: (1) Outstanding Club Bulletin; (2) Outstanding Membership Growth for the Rotary Global Quest; (3) Outstanding Project for Vocational Service: Fishpond, free medicine, food and clothing; (4) Governor's Outstanding Project Recognition: New Year party for 1,500 underprivileged and special children; (5) Contribution to The Rotary Foundation; (6) Governor's Outstanding Achievement: Successful organisation of the Rotary Club of Putrajaya; and (7) Governor's Outstanding Achievement: Organisation of Youthact Club of Sekolah Sri Garden.
